You can plant Snowball onion sets very early in spring; the first beautiful days in March are particularly good for this. Plant the onion so deep that it is just under the soil, the upper part may just be visible. If planted on time, the onions are ready to harvest in July as soon as the foliage has settled. These white onions (also inside) have a mild flavour.
