Organic flower bulbs: an eco-friendly alternative

We humans are fortunately becoming increasingly aware of the environment and especially our impact on it. For this reason, there is an ever-increasing range of ecological and organic products for the garden. These days, flower bulbs can also be added to that list. There are strict requirements for organic bulbs. After all, you cannot just say you are 'organic'. Some of these requirements are:

Farmland that is completely free of artificial fertilisers and harmful plant protection products;
Use of natural (raw) materials in cultivation and growing;
Organic source material;
Crop rotation.

Organically grown bulbs also involve a lot of manual work. After all, this is how quality is guaranteed. As a result, organic spring bulbs are slightly more expensive, but the burden on nature is many times lower!
