Strelitzia Reginea / Bird of Paradise - Buy 3 Plants?

Product information

Bring your living room into a tropical atmosphere with this beautiful houseplant! The Strelitzia Reginae, better known in the Netherlands as Bird of Paradise plant, originates from South Africa. The Strelitzia Reginae is a huge eye-catcher with its large pointed leaves and beautiful orange and blue ornamental flowers. The adult height of the Bird of Paradise plant in the house is about 150cm. The Strelitzia is grown outdoors and may therefore have some spots or leaf cracks, this is part of this plant.

Care for

Strelitzia Reginae prefers a spot with a lot of light. As a result, the plant needs a lot of water (pay attention to drainage to prevent root rot). Water less during winter, the soil should be allowed to dry out regularly. The plant can also be kept on the terrace in spring and summer. The plant is not winter-hardy so it should be brought back inside in October at the latest.

Plant height

On delivery, the plants have a height of 25 to 40 cm (measured incl. pot). The plants are delivered in pots with a diameter of 9 cm.
