Grapes, or officially "Vitis Vinifera", are beautiful climbing plants reminiscent of the warm south and give your garden or balcony a lovely Mediterranean feel. Let them grow and climb in a sunny spot against a fence or along a wall. The plants can be kept in soil or in a pot. In this set you will receive three Vitis vinifera 'pinot gris' plants. Pinot Gris wine is made from this wine grape! The plants are delivered with a height of 30-45cm (measured including pot).
Care for
The grape plant is a very easy plant to look after. It prefers a sunny position in a warm, sheltered place where it can climb and grow. It is best to put the Vitis in the ground so that it can easily find its moisture and nutrients and therefore grow faster. The plant is hardy to -15 degrees Celsius and loses its leaves in winter. In spring, the plant sprouts new leaves again. The Vitis is best pruned in early spring (February) for growth.
