Gladioli Viva La Vida - New - Buy 20 Bulbs?

Height in cm 130
Flowering time July - August
Planting time April - June

Gladioli Viva la Vida is a mix that is indispensable in your summer garden. These true summer bloomers can bloom right into autumn. These richly flowering, large-flowered gladioli grow to about 120-140 cm and are also wonderful cut flowers. So be sure to plant a row of gladioli in your cut flower garden. Moreover, this gladiolus mixture is very richly flowering and should not be missing in your summer flower garden. You can plant the tubers of Gladioli about 7-10 cm deep in spring. First loosen the soil well and sprinkle a layer of sharp sand at the bottom of the planting hole. This allows rainwater to drain well under the tubers. Place the tubers about 10-12 cm apart. While planting, add some good potting soil. Mix heavy (clay) soil with sharp sand before planting. This large-flowered gladiolus likes to grow in a warm sunny spot. These purple and lilac large-flowered gladioli combine well. You can create special combinations with them in the border with tall perennials and dahlias. Preferably plant gladioli in a different spot every year. Will you use these gladioli as cut flowers? Pick the stems when the bottom flower opens, preferably early in the morning. Place the stems immediately in a vase of lukewarm water with cut flower food.
