This impressive "Emperor's Crown" has yellow, pendulous, bell-shaped flowers. The strong air of the bulbs keeps mice and moles at bay. It is advisable to plant the bulb at a slight angle when planting to prevent water staying in the bulb. It is not a true 'naturaliser'.
