Clematis Purple - Buy 3 Plants?

Clematis, or Woodland Vine, has been one of the most popular garden plants for hundreds of years. Even the ancient Greeks and Romans were said to be fans. Because the Clematis has been popular since ancient times, many hybrids are now available. They come in all shapes, colours and sizes. The flowers bloom in spring and summer. With a light afterflowering often in autumn. Clematis can grow up to 3 metres tall. These climbers are incredibly hardy (down to -20C) but do lose their leaves in winter. Clematis likes to face the full sun. The roots, on the other hand, like to be sheltered.
