Blueberry plants, also known as Vaccinium corymbosum, are great plants to add to the backyard or kitchen garden. Care

Blueberry plants reach a maximum height of 2 metres and are fully hardy. The bushes form blueberry-like berries that are three times larger than the native blueberry. Blueberries need moist, acidic soil. Plant the Vaccinium preferably in full sun. Pruning is best done in early spring, before growth begins. This is because blueberry plants produce fruit from July to October. Therefore, fertilise the plant in spring. You can also enjoy this plant during the autumn months, when it turns beautifully red.

On delivery, the plants have a height of 25 to 40 cm (measured incl. pot). The plants are delivered in pots with a diameter of 9 cm.
